This site is dedicated to bringing you news, views and interviews about the forthcoming event, Hull 2012. This will be our city’s contribution to the national Cultural Olympiad that runs alongside the London Olympic Games. The site aims to give you in-depth reportage covering five main areas of interest; education, tourism, culture, sport and business and will include exclusive access to council officials.

The site will incorporate text and image-based content with specially created film and audio-based news. We have incorporated a full range of social media in to the site, in order create an engaging, vibrant and long lasting impact on local news reporting.

We want you, the people of Hull, to join us on an exciting journey as we document the real stories behind the build up to this special celebration of arts and culture in Hull.
